Ciaran Lyons
At only 21 years old, Ciaran Lyons is one of Australia’s brightest up and coming comedians. Since winning the 2013 Perth Comedy Festival Next Gen Comedian award, he has gone on to regularly perform sold out shows at comedy clubs all over the country, opening for big name comics such as Akmal, Lawrence Mooney, Nazeem Hussain Sammy J & Randy.
Building on this momentum, Ciaran was voted by The Sunday Times as one of WA's Hottest 100 People of 2016 (alongside the likes of Tame Impala, Troye Sivan and Danny Green), is a presenter on national youth station Triple J, and has regularly appeared as a Metro Whip Presenter for Network Ten’s The Project. His selection for the 2015 Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Comedy Zone – showcasing five of Australia’s best new comedians led to a string of sold out solo shows across Australia, and appearances at prestigious events such as ABC Comedy Bites Gala, Comedy Under the Stars and Triple J’s Good Az Friday.
2017 has already shaped up to be a big one for the 20 year old, with sold out shows at the Perth Fringe, hosting the WA Raw Comedy Final and headlining the NSW Raw Comedy Final, as well as making his debut solo appearance at the Sydney Comedy Festival!
